Mia's Cottage meets Mother's Day

Yes, I'm still showing you class projects from the May class! This was a fun one that looks much more difficult that it really is.

We used our Scor-Pals to make this shutter-fold card from Mia's Cottage Cardstock, then we added Mia's Cottage patterned paper, stamped using Anchor to the Soul and Trendy Greetings. Viola! A card with a WOW! factor.

Inks: Pallette Noir, Chartreuse, Claret. Adding color to the main image was achieved by scribbling a palette of color on acrylic blocks using Tombow Markers and squirting a bit of water on the same block. We used tiny paint brushes to pick up the color and "watercolor." We used the ever-handy-dandy Gray Tombow to add shadows.
I came home and made another one for my Mother-in-Law in blue!
Which color do you like better?
