Blossoms & Blessings--pt. 4

This is the final segment--for now! This is such a great set and very versatile. ;-) I hope you've enjoyed the different posts showing you different ways to use it. Oh, and I never even stamped any with the LEAVES! That gives the set even more uses!!!

Supplies: Blossoms & Blessings, ivory ultrasmooth cardstock (not sure why it looks so white!), Copic Markers, Cardstock Caboodles C and G, Elizabeth Buttons (I think...), pop dots, scallop scissors, paper piercer (hard to see in pix).

Blossoms & Blessings--pt. 3

Still not sure why these are so tiny, but...oh well...

I colored this one with Copics, and used white Prismacolor Pencil with OMS to give even more depth/highlights. This was my first attempt at a button groupin, and I really don't like how it turned out. They loook like they're in two rows. Sigh...I'll keep trying...

Supplies: Blossoms & Blessings, Copic Markers, ivory ultrasmooth cardstock, purple Bazzill from SWIC collection, Lemonade Buttons, Momento Tuxedo Black ink, ribbon.

Blossoms & Blessings--pt. 2

More Blossoms & Blessings! I stamped the background with Versamark to give the watermark look. After stamping the flower, I colored around the outside edge with Copic markers, then used my Colorless Blender to give the edges of that a more subtle appearance. Quick and Simple!

Supplies: Cardstock Caboodles B, white ultrasmooth cardstock, Cote d'Azure Palette ink, Copic markers, Copic Colorless Blender, Versamark, ribbon.

Blossoms & Blessings--pt. 1

I'm loving the new Blossoms & Blessings stamp set in TAC's new Inspiration Book! Over the next several posts I'll be showing you different cards using the same set. Each has a very different look. BTW, not sure why the pix are so tiny! I did the same thing I always do!?!?!?

This one is based off this one that Maria made. We did a similar one in purples at my Open House/Catalogue Premiere. Notice the black gems--I'm tickled with the touch that they add!

The one below is an adaptation I made for a wedding we attended on July 10. Since I didn't have to mail the card, I knew the "bumpy" gems wouldn't be a problem! ;-)

The photo below shows how "bumpy" the gems truly are. They are BEAUTIFUL in person and add so much to a card! The large one is raised much higher than the hearts under the sentiment.

Supplies: Blossoms & Blessings, white ultrasmooth cardstock, black cardstock, Corner Chomper, Palette inks in Noir and Charcoal, Black Gem Collection, border punch.

I've Got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy...

After I made this card and stamped "Joy" three times, I had that old song going thru my head. :-)

Sorry I've been MIA on my blog, but I've had other things to do and still not enough time to do them. sigh... I promise I'll try to do better, but I'm not promising WHEN I'll get the next things posted. I've got to edit the photos first.

My post today is part of an Angel Blog Hop--demonstrators from The Angel Company are participating, and the theme is "Christmas in July."

I know it seems odd to have the rounded corner in the upper left of a card, but I decided that's where I wanted it. :-) IRL the colors match much better--the ink really does match the paper, but I just couldn't get it right. Sorry!

Supplies: Joyful Ornaments, white ultrasmooth cardstock, Cardstock Caboodle D (both purples), Violete Palette ink, Crystal Stickles, Corner Chomper, Diamonds Impressies and ribbon.

Hopefully you can see the Impressies embossing as well as the Stickles on the Joy.
Be sure to check out all the other Angels' art!
