Masculine Ship Collage

I haven't had a lot of time to be terribly creative lately, so I'm going to post another card from a while back. This was one I used for a "Masculine" card swap and also for a class I had for "masculine cards." Those seem to be so tough sometimes, that I might just cover that theme again at stamp class!

It's hard to see in this picture, but only the image on the tag is colored as a spot technique. It is also raised with a Pop Dot.

Stamps: Ship Collage

Ink: Burnt Umberand Seascape Palettes

Paper: Aspen, Kraft, Bazzill Blues

Other: Edge Distressor, Tombow markers, paintbrush, Mega Tag Punch, Corner Rounder, Antique Spiral Clip, jute, rubber bands, acrylic block, Pop Dots

Note: Wrap an acrylic dot with various sizes and widths of rubber bands both horizontally and vertically. Allow them to twist. This becomes the "stamp" for the background, using first Seascape then Burnt Umber inks. When using Tombows, scripple onto an acrylic block to create a "palette," then use a tiny paintbrush dipped in water to pick up color and "paint" the image.
