Mini Heritage Album
I spent quite a bit of time this past week working on four heritage mini albums that are gifts for my mom to give to her sisters. She purchased the great little Pemberley Bay Matchbook Kits, and I had the pleasure of putting them together for her. What an opportunity to recount my blessings of family as I created these! (All four were the same, so I made one and then "copied" the rest.) Now I'll be making one for myself too!
Since Amberley Grace goes with these kits, I used cardstock and ribbon from that collection. This was my first PB Matchbook Kit, so it was fun to be creative with something new. Mom wanted them fairly simple, so I think (hope!) I accomplished simple yet pretty.

October and November Class Projects
November's Class
That was the popular mini album made from wine bags and bound with my Bind It All. Silly me totally forgot to take my camera to get pix of everyone else's creations. :-( I'm so bummed because these gals were soooo creative. They each had a bound album, pieces cut from TAC's Reece collection and cardstock, the rest of their Reece paper/tags, Reece ribbons, some hardware and pop dots. I had my example and photos of one made by TAC Angel Risa. The end results where outstanding and fun!
Anyway...here are photos of mine...

Bag Book Class and Fondue
My Monday evening class if already full, BUT if you are interested in attending a make-up class contact me right away. I'll try to work you in--I've already heard from a few who would like to do a make-up.
Next, I want to show you a pic from my weekend. Three other friends and I had a girls' weekend in Oklahoma City--about 3 hours from here. Two of them are turning 40 this fall, so the other friend and I went to chaperone since we're older! LOL
We had an awesome time with no real plans. For dinner Sat. eve we happened upon a great "chick" restaurant called the Melting Pot. It was 4 course fondue! What fun!!! A real highlight of the weekend. (Unfortunately none of the other 3 are papercrafters, so none of that kind of shopping on this trip.) Anyway, here's a pic our waiter took during the entree course. I'm the washed out one on the far left. Yep, that's my natural gray. Yikes!

Chipboard Stacks!
The two photos below are stand-up hinged frames. For the lion on the "boy" frame, I cut out and "extra" head and placed it on top of the main image with pop dots. This created depth/interest, and allow allowed a photo to slip under the lion's head, yet still have it looking like it's overlapping.
These are desk calendars. They stand up on their own...
The photos below are calendar magnets. The top two magnets were inspired by Sarah G.
This photo doesn't show the inside, but they open to reveal Post-It notes!
It's hard to tell in these photos below, but they are mini notebooks. They only measure just over 2" across!
If you have any questions about chipboard stacks or any of these projects, just let me know!
